Flour, yeast and disinfectant always in stock for quick dash in/out. Also selling cloth face masks by the cash register.
Had a lamb rice plate and it was amazing! Good taste in food and you can buy a lot of Lebanese goodies, I'm always looking for labneh and they had 3 different types. Happiest person right now!
This is Lebanese taverna market. They have good options for lunch items and sides and baklava type desserts.
This Lebanese Taverna is different than others in the area. It's a market and more Cafe than formal restaurant. The beef shawarma could use some extra fixins but everything is as close to authentic as you're going to get in the US. The market has everything you need, including huge selection of Lebanese wines.
It's a good place to stop and get some Lebanese food. It's basically a small ethnic grocery store and has a section with the equivalent of homestyle Lebanese food and offers fresh shawarma. There's a small place to eat inside if one is so inclined. Be aware that there is limited parking and you may have to park a block or two away and walk.
More market than eatery, bit great for a quick bite. The shawarma was really good, both chicken and beef, as recommended. The people were very friendly and helpful. Dining area is simple and clean, with large windows letting the sun shine in while you rat. The store was laid out nicely and a nice selection of wines and fruit drinks. There was plentiful parking during the holidays, but getting on and put was a little tricky.
I come here for the fatayer. They are perfect and are a gift from the gods
The deli is worth the stars. Growing up in Arlington weekly visits for swarhma and a tub of hummus and baklava was my ritual. the market is great plus the staff is super nice
Great middle eastern market. Try the hummus!
This is our go-to place for Lebanese food. The cheese fatayer is especially amazing. Very friendly staff too!
The Lebanese Taverna Market is a fabulous "institution" with our family and the neighborhood. The food is terrific, the environment is pleasant-a few tables with lots of windows. Many of the employees have stayed for decades and always remember us. Our children grew from toddlers to young adults and the menu always provided something for a picky eater to -- EAT! It's easy to stay within a vegetarian choice at all locations. Gluten free at the restaurant on Washington Blvd. Can't speak for the Market and gluten free needs. The original location is nearby and serves much of the menu with "fancier" additions. Again, the family are usually around and offer genuine hospitality. These two restaurants are the best kind of local establishments. Highly recommended.
The deli counter here is the best! Delicious, fresh. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable.
Some of the best carryout in the area, especially the sauces
Great selection of ready made Lebanese takeaway, and big selection of Lebanese grocery.
Always good Middle Eastern food. Very clean place. Love their mini market as well.
You can literally grab anything here and it will be good
One of my favorite spots in the DC area. It helped me survive my first college internship and it is as delicious today as it was almost 20 years ago. A great stop if you want good food to take out and about while touristing around town.
Schwarmas were cool before the Avengers got involved.
Always tasty, fresh food and love that I can get something wheat free.
Lovely neighborhood establishment!
Everything is fresh and flavourful. They even have pickled turnips which I have been searching for for ages. They have fresh food, wines, breads, chocolates, and candies. Lovely place to shop. Mmmmmm.
This place is a staple in my diet. Easy to eat healthy here and the food is incredible.
The best Lebanese food in DC area. They have several locations. Nice service and high quality food. My favorite location is their restaurant in the Barcroft neighborhood.
This branch of the Lebanese Taverna isn't a full-service restaurant and bar like the others. It's a delivery and small grocery store with a few tables where people can sit and eat. But most of their business is take-out, primarily salads, hummus, pita bread, and so forth. They have wines too.
Lebanese Taverna has just lost a loyal customer. Made reservations OVER A WEEK AGO for Mother's Day at 4 PM. Confirmed it last night. They just called me and cancelled our reservation because they are overbooked!!! Sorry Mom, now it's too late to get reservations anywhere else. We will never be back after this, which is too bad, because we love their food, but there are PLENTY of restaurant choices in the region. I wish this woud allow me to put 0 stars.
A bit on the expensive side. but you would find all your Lebanese groceries, pita bread etc... I really recommend the Lebanese wine there. quite a nice variety of food , they have a nice area so you can grab a quick lunch (fast casual style).
This is not the same quality as the full restaurant's. The staff didn't understand us well. They were not flexible with sandwiches adding any extras. The shawarma sandwich bread was wrong and the taboleh was super lemony. They need to quality check before they put it out for sale.
Fresh food, delicious veggie options. Wonderful market with wines, sweets, teas and treats. Small, bright seating area. Don't miss out on the garlic spread. Amazing!Bathrooms have mouthwash. Fun cooking class with tasty results.
Large variety of Mediterranean foods and items like hookah pipes, cookbooks, and souvenirs like t-shirts. There is high end quality products but it is expensive. There is also fresh Mediterranean food like hummus eggplant and other Mediterranean Delicacies. Strategically located at the Crossing of Old Dominion and Lee Highway. There is free parking too.
Fast service. Large selection of items.. great food for carry out...ready to eat
I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place clean all the time. Prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions.
Delicious food!
Wonderful food. One of my favorite take-out places for years. Plus a small Middle Eastern grocery store.
the Cashier women so rude.
Expensive and it's a deli not a grocery shop
Great food great service...kind of a mom and pop kind of place..
My lunch special-Chicken kabob rice bowls with Thai sugar free tea and baklava to top it off . Great for take out. Order ahead for fast pick up.
Had a lovely lunch at the LT cafe. I had never been there hefore and was very curious. The menu is limited which was a bit disappointing. But the shawarma over rice was delicious. The serving was huge and the price was right. Good place to shop for specialty groceries, too. I saw a sign that they even have gluten-free pita!
The best lebanese cuisine in town.
Good shwarma and tahini. Excellent stuffed grape leaves. Thw restaurant on Washington Blvd is even better than the cafe.
Great store for Mediterranean food and mine markets
Food is so great here! But had a really weird and bad customer service experience. Asked for a substitution, assuming I would need to pay an extra amount to make the substitution and was mildly chastised multiple times when I ordered and paid. Shouldn’t be a big deal to make a modification to an order? Need to work on communication with customers!
Very good place to take you dog or cat
It depends on what you’re looking for- the middle eastern food presented here is quite bland. I do not think it is worth the price. Especially with tasty Levantine cuisine at a fraction of the cost down the road.
Love this place. Always have since I was a child. The food is fresh and very good. I love everything from here. As a child I would love it when my mom would come here to get the nights dinner. The chicken meat in the sandwiches is very tasty. The humus is excellent! You cannot go wrong here. I've been eating here for years.
Very good food, and good selections of foods and drinks to bring home.
Very clean, good food and great customer service!
Great selection of Middle Eastern food. Choose from numerous fresh deli type items as well as many table staples. Wonderful fresh pita in various sizes.
Nice friendly lunch spot with home made Mediterranean goodies to eat in or take out. A small market too.
The food was so yummy. My coworker invited me here for a Welcome to Arlington lunch and we couldn’t have gone wrong. Definitely will be back. YUMMY.
